About Stephen
by Stephen Hoult on May 10th, 2010Stephen is a keen Sunderland AFC fan and season ticket holder currently working as a Web Developer specialising in PHP and MySQL development.
In his spare time he enjoys playing football, pool – specifically 9 ball pool, snooker and photography.
He is a former Ice Hockey player, beginning at Durham before moving to Sunderland when Durham closed in 1996. He spent a couple of years there before moving to play for the Whitley Bay Junior teams before being called up to the senior team – the Warriors – at age 17. Stephen has been running the Whitley Warriors official website since 2005.
He played for the Warriors until the age of almost 24 winning numerous awards such as MVP before having to hang up his skates due to suffering from a DVT.
Stephen plays Virtual Pool 3 online under the username ‘keeps21′ as well as playing XBOX 360 under the gamertag ‘VDoggFTM’.
He studied computing and gained an HND in that subject at college. He has worked in the IT / web development / tech support industry since 2007 developing corporate sites, online shops.
Stephen is engaged to his partner Leanne, whom he has been with since November 2006.
